Kecskeméti TV Live Stream

Kecskeméti TV (KTV) is the local television station of Kecskemét and its surroundings, in Hungary's Bács-Kiskun county. The station began regular broadcasting in the autumn of 1985, after a first pilot broadcast from the studio of the city's cultural centre, and has since become one of the country's respected local media.

Hírös Hírek at seven

Every weekday at 19:00 the channel airs Hírös Hírek, the newscast covering Kecskemét and local issues. It won the Local Value Award at the annual meeting of the National Association of Local Televisions in 2014.

Sport, concerts and city life

The channel regularly broadcasts live events: sports fixtures, concerts and cultural occasions from the city, which is what a local station can offer that national channels cannot.

A county town on the plain

Kecskemét is the seat of Bács-Kiskun, Hungary's largest county, on the Great Hungarian Plain south of Budapest. Its economy runs on agriculture, food processing and the car plant nearby, and the station's reporting follows those industries along with the city's institutions and its apricot-pálinka tradition.
