GoodLife 45 Live Stream

GoodLife 45 is the on-air brand of WTGL (channel 45), a religious independent television station licensed to Leesburg, Florida, serving the Orlando area. Owned by Good Life Broadcasting, Inc., the station carries faith-based teaching, worship and family programming for Central Florida.

From WLCB-TV to the Good Life

The channel 45 construction permit was originally granted in 1987 to Central Florida Educational Television, but the station never launched under that owner; the permit and a partially built transmitting facility were sold to Good Life Broadcasting in May 2000, and the station signed on December 12, 2000, as WLCB-TV, for Leesburg Community Broadcasting. Early schedules mixed westerns, old sitcoms, public-domain movies and lifestyle shows with religious content before the station settled into an all-Christian format. The present call letters, WTGL, stand for “The Good Life,” and the station brands on air as Good Life 45. Studios are located on Skyline Drive in Lake Mary, Florida.

Faith-Based Programming

As a religious independent, WTGL builds its schedule from national faith networks and local ministry productions. Programming includes content from Total Living Network, World Harvest Television and The Worship Network, spanning Bible teaching, worship music, talk and family-oriented features. The station previously carried Faith TV until that network rebranded in 2010.

Technical Profile

WTGL broadcasts on virtual channel 45, transmitting on UHF digital channel 34 under a channel-sharing agreement with PBS member station WUCF-TV, from an antenna near Bithlo, Florida. The station runs an effective radiated power of 1,000 kilowatts with an antenna height above average terrain of about 380 meters, covering the Orlando market and surrounding Central Florida communities. Its schedule is also distributed online as a live stream.
