EWTN Europe Live Stream
EWTN Europe is the European feed of the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), the global Catholic television network founded by Mother Angelica. The feed brings the network's liturgy, news and formation to viewers across Europe, with a particular focus on the Church's life on the continent and at the Vatican.
A European Window on a Global Catholic Network
EWTN was founded in 1981 by Mother Angelica (Mother Mary Angelica of the Annunciation) and is operated by the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration from Irondale, Alabama. From modest beginnings it grew into a worldwide Catholic media organization, and its European feed gives the continent a dedicated window on that output. EWTN maintains newsgathering presence in Europe, including coverage from Rome, so European viewers receive both the network's global reporting and stories from their own region.
Mass, News and Formation
The European schedule centers on the Church's prayer and teaching: Daily Mass and the Holy Rosary anchor the devotional hours, while EWTN News Nightly delivers daily Catholic news and the discussion program The World Over examines current events from a Catholic perspective. Documentaries, catechetical series and coverage of papal events — Angelus addresses, papal Masses and Vatican ceremonies — give the feed a strong Roman focus alongside its universal content.
Serving a Continent of Many Languages
Europe's linguistic diversity is met by EWTN's multilingual approach: the European feed carries English-language programming while the network maintains separate Spanish, German, French and other language services for the continent. As a continuous linear channel the European feed runs around the clock, and its schedule is also distributed online as a live stream, reaching Catholics from Lisbon to Warsaw and beyond.
