ARTtv online - Television live

ARTtv Live Stream

ARTtv is Turkey's first online art television, founded on 1 August 2008 by the art collector and cultural entrepreneur İnci Aksoy under the slogan "Sanatla Randevunuz Var" - "you have a rendezvous with art". Broadcasting from Istanbul, it covers the Turkish and international art scene for a broad audience.

The Art World on Video

The channel's output is built around the visual arts: video visits to exhibitions in Istanbul's galleries and museums, portraits of artists and their studios in the Sanatci Atölyeleri strand, interviews with figures of the art world, and the ArtBlog written column. Its ArtNews desk follows the international circuit - from Frieze London and Frieze Masters to new gallery openings in Istanbul such as the Dem Art Gallery in the restored Piri Pasa Hamami.

Beyond Broadcasting

ARTtv also runs the ArtStore, a sales platform presenting works by the channel's featured artists, and keeps a directory of museums and exhibitions across Turkey, acting as a guide as much as a broadcaster.
