TRT 2 Live Stream

TRT 2 is a culture and arts channel of Türkiye’s public broadcaster, TRT. The official website provides a live broadcast, a programme schedule and a catalogue of full episodes. Its programme sections cover art, culture, history and cinema. The homepage currently highlights Sanat Medeniyet ve Mimari (Art, Civilisation and Architecture), with Prof. Dr. Sadettin Ökten and Dr. Sacide Akın discussing Istanbul’s historic külliyes.

Architecture, heritage and art

The TRT 2 catalogue also features Antik Miras (Ancient Heritage), which follows archaeological work on Anatolia’s cultural heritage, and Kim Korkar Çağdaş Sanattan (Who’s Afraid of Contemporary Art?), about contemporary art. The channel’s culture pages list MİM, presented by architect Nevzat Sayın, on architecture in Türkiye and around the world. Another catalogue title, Medeniyetin İşaret Taşları (Landmarks of Civilisation), covers historical and architectural structures.

History and cinema

TRT 2’s history catalogue includes Kilit Taşı (Keystone), whose episodes explore historical subjects through art, architecture and society. The cinema section features discussions by film critics Alin Taşçıyan and Mehmet Açar about films shown on the channel, including their production, screenwriting, cinematography and performances. These programme descriptions and presenters are listed on TRT 2’s official pages. Viewers can check the live page and schedule on the broadcaster’s website for current transmission details.
