Sankhya TV is the first Hindu television station in Trinidad and Tobago. Broadcasting 24/7, the channel delivers cultural, inspirational and spiritual programming to the country's Indo-Trinidadian and Hindu communities and to viewers abroad.

The First Hindu Television Station in Trinidad and Tobago

Sankhya Television was established as the first Hindu television station in Trinidad and Tobago, serving a community with deep roots in the islands' Indian heritage. Its stated mission is to enlighten minds and to promote cultural, inspirational and spiritual content, positioning the station as a source of entertainment and education grounded in Hindu values.

Cultural, Inspirational and Spiritual Programming

The schedule runs around the clock with religious and cultural events coverage, including temple ceremonies, festivals and community gatherings recorded and broadcast by the station. Teaching and devotional segments, music and dance, and programs on Hindu philosophy and practice form the spiritual core, while lifestyle and community features address everyday family life. The channel describes itself as the number-one source for cultural, inspirational and spiritual entertainment.

Production and Streaming Services

Beyond its broadcast schedule, Sankhya Television offers production services: recording and broadcasting religious and cultural events, video production and web streaming for organizations and families. These services tie the station closely to the community it serves, and its own channel runs continuously as a linear service, also distributed online as a live stream so viewers can watch at home, at work or on the go.
