TV Girona Live Stream

TV Girona - Televisió de Girona - is the local television channel of the city of Girona: a private, Catalan-language station that has made itself the reference screen for the city and its comarques. Broadcasting from Avinguda Sant Francesc in the center of Girona, it covers the city's news, politics, culture and events, and its signal also streams live online.

Girona is a provincial capital with a strong civic identity - the old city, the cathedral, the Onyar river, the festivals that fill the calendar - and the channel's schedule is built around exactly that local life.

The Local Grid

The programming is proximity television in the Catalan tradition: city news from Girona, coverage of the comarques - from the Alt Empordà to the Selva, the Pla de l'Estany and the Ripollès - the municipal agenda, culture, sport and the community events that fill a provincial capital's year. The station's mobile unit puts cameras on the street for live coverage, its programming page carries the daily schedule, and its video section archives the reports for viewers who missed the broadcast. The channel's connection to La Xarxames, the network of Catalan local televisions, links the city's screen to the regional system of local stations.

Catalan, From the Ter to the Costa Brava

Girona's media reach runs from the inland comarques to the Costa Brava, and TV Girona serves that whole territory in Catalan: the language of the city's daily life and its institutions. The channel's role is the one local television has always played in Catalonia - the screen where the city's own stories are told first, from city hall decisions to neighborhood initiatives, festivals and local sport.

Directe and On Demand

The channel's directe - its live signal - runs on its own web player, with the archive available in the video section and the games and apps extending the station's identity to other formats. For viewers in Girona and for the city's diaspora in Barcelona, Madrid and beyond, the live signal keeps the connection: the comarques's own channel, on the air and streaming wherever its audience lives.
