Canal 8 Live Stream

Canal 8 is the signal of Televisión Nacional de Honduras (TNH), the state television broadcaster of Honduras, based in Tegucigalpa. It describes itself as the channel of the people and the official channel of the Government of the Republic of Honduras, and it operates alongside the national radio service of the same house.

News and state coverage

The channel's journalism is built around the Diario Nacional newscast and continuous coverage of state affairs: an Agenda de Estado section, reports on government programmes and the citizen services desk. Congreso en Vivo carries live sessions of the National Congress, a fixture of the channel's public-service remit.

Recent headline items have included the Honduran national team's historic qualification for the 2026 World Cup, the country's renewable-energy milestones - with 40 percent of electricity from renewable sources - and social programmes that reach more than a million families.

Distribution

Canal 8 broadcasts free-to-air in Honduras and streams through the official TNH portal, which also offers a radio service online and an archive of reels and reports from its newsroom, so that Hondurans abroad can follow the state channel as well.
