Al Maaref TV Live Stream

Al Maaref TV - قناة المعارف الفضائية - is an Islamic satellite channel founded in the year 1428 of the Hijra, which corresponds to 2007, by a group of believers who set out to spread religious knowledge. Its motto is siraj al-ilm wa al-fadila, the lamp of knowledge and virtue.

A method of moderation

From its first day the channel has followed a stated course of moderation, keeping away from both excess and negligence. It presents Islamic teaching on the basis of the school of Ahl al-Bayt, offering lectures, religious programmes and educational material to Arabic-speaking audiences, and it frames its work as a service to knowledge rather than to controversy.

Programmes and study

The schedule is built from religious programming: lectures and lesson series, commemorations of the religious calendar, and short educational pieces on doctrine, worship and conduct that the channel publishes alongside its television output. Its website carries a broadcast schedule and an archive of programmes for viewers who want to follow a series in order.

Where it is broadcast

Al Maaref TV transmits by satellite at 11641 MHz, horizontal polarisation, with a symbol rate of 27500 and FEC 5/6, reaching homes across the region, and it runs a live player on its site for viewers watching online.
