TV Maná Español is the Spanish-language service of TV Maná, the television network of Igreja Maná in Portugal. Spanish is the second language of the network's international work, and this channel carries the same Christian output - preaching, teaching, testimony and music - to Spain and to Latin America.

Where it fits in the network

The Maná channels are divided by language: Portuguese for Portugal and Angola, Portuguese again with a Brazilian accent for Brazil, English for Anglophone audiences, Russian for the east, and Spanish for the Spanish-speaking world. The Spanish channel is the network's bridge to Latin America, where Portuguese-language programming would otherwise exclude most viewers, and it draws on the same production base as the Portuguese service.

What the schedule contains

The programming is congregational and practical in equal measure: services and prayer meetings carried at length, teaching on family life, finances and daily conduct, testimonies of changed lives, and gospel music. The network also runs a dedicated 24-hour prayer channel, and the same devotional material is translated for the Spanish audience rather than produced separately.

The Maná network

Igreja Maná has grown from a single congregation into an international church with television at the centre of its work. TV Maná 1, its Portuguese channel, has been on air since 2011 and is carried on all the main Portuguese platforms as well as in Angola and Mozambique, and the sister channels extend that reach to Brazil, the English-speaking world and the Spanish-speaking world alike.
