TV Mana 1 Live Stream

TV Maná 1 is the flagship Portuguese channel of Igreja Maná, broadcasting 24 hours a day from Pontinha, near Lisbon. Its site states the purpose directly: in a world where children, young people and adults are exposed to every kind of immoral and easily accessible material, the channel sets out to be an alternative that educates and transforms lives.

Christian and general programming

The channel describes its output as Christian and generalist at once, and the schedule bears that out. Religious material - services, prayer, preaching and gospel music - sits beside programmes on politics and religion, family life, financial management, Portuguese towns and cities, and children's Bible stories. A typical weekday opens with a prayer meeting, moves through teaching and information, and returns to worship in the evening.

Where it can be watched

TV Maná 1 has been on air since 2011 and is carried on every major Portuguese platform: NOS channel 185, MEO 181, NOWO 143 and Vodafone 212. Beyond Portugal it reaches Angola on DStv at position 132 and Mozambique on cable at 312 and TMT 32, and it streams online in Portuguese.

The church behind the channel

Igreja Maná is a Christian church that made television central to its mission rather than an afterthought, and TV Maná 1 is the result: a full broadcast operation with its own studios, schedule and programme archive. The network also runs a second Portuguese channel, a 24-hour prayer channel, a Brazilian service, and channels in Spanish, English and Russian.
