TV Moldova 2 Live Stream

Moldova 2 is the second public television channel of the Republic of Moldova and is operated by national broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova (TRM). It began broadcasting on 3 May 2016, the 58th anniversary of TRM. Its schedule was developed to carry sports competitions and other live sports coverage, alongside programmes from Moldova 1.

A second public channel for sports

The launch addressed the need to cover a large number of sports programmes, following a recommendation from the European Broadcasting Union. Moldova 2 therefore expanded TRM’s television offering with a channel whose defining subject is sport. Its programming includes competitions for Moldovan viewers, while selected Moldova 1 programmes also appear in the schedule. This combination connects the channel to the wider public broadcaster while giving sports coverage a distinct place.

Part of Teleradio-Moldova

Moldova 2 belongs to Teleradio-Moldova, the country’s national public broadcaster. The station’s launch date—3 May 2016—coincided with the company’s 58th anniversary. It was introduced as the country’s second public television service, complementing the existing Moldova 1 channel. The channel’s public-broadcasting identity and sports remit are central to its role within TRM.

Television across Moldova

The channel’s initial distribution was described as analogue and digital across Moldova. For viewers looking for live TV with a Moldovan sports focus, Moldova 2 is the TRM channel associated with live competitions and sports programming. Its profile can be summed up by public television and national sports coverage, while the schedule also carries selected programming from Moldova 1.
