ADB TV Live Stream
ADB TV is the official television channel of the Assembleia de Deus da Buraca, a Pentecostal congregation in Buraca, in the municipality of Amadora just outside Lisbon. It broadcasts in Portuguese and exists to carry the church's services, teaching and music beyond the walls of its building.
A congregation's own channel
The Assembleia de Deus is one of the largest Pentecostal denominations in Portugal and has been present in the country for more than a century, forming part of the Portuguese Evangelical Alliance. Its congregations are autonomous in government and support, bound to one another by cooperation rather than by a central administration, and the Buraca church's decision to run its own channel reflects that independence: the broadcast is the congregation's own work, not a national denominational service.
What the channel shows
The programming follows the shape of the church's life. Services are carried live, with the Sunday service at ten in the morning as the centre of the week; Bible teaching and preaching fill the rest of the schedule, alongside the congregational singing that is central to Pentecostal worship. The channel describes its purpose simply: to bring the cultos, the teaching and the music of the congregation to those who cannot be present.
Watching
ADB TV streams from the church's own live page, where the next Sunday service is counted down, and the congregation publishes its main site with information about the church and its meetings. The signal is also distributed on Portuguese streaming infrastructure alongside the country's other channels.
