Kohenoor TV Live Stream

Kohenoor TV is a Pakistani television news service broadcasting in Urdu. It covers news and current affairs for viewers interested in developments across Pakistan. Its official live page lists satellite reception through Paksat MM1 and publishes technical tuning details, while the online stream gives audiences another way to watch the channel.

News and current affairs

Kohenoor’s output includes news bulletins, current affairs, political discussion, public affairs and coverage of national events. These formats follow developments in Pakistan and provide space for discussion of social and political issues. The channel’s Urdu-language service is aimed at audiences who follow Pakistani news in their own language, both within the country and abroad.

A landmark newsreader debut

In March 2018, Marvia Malik anchored her first programme on Kohenoor News. The BBC reported that she became Pakistan’s first transgender TV newsreader. Malik, a journalism graduate who had also worked as a model, described the appointment as an important step toward her professional goal. Her debut brought wider attention to representation in Pakistani television journalism.

Satellite and online viewing

Kohenoor TV’s official page identifies Paksat MM1 as its satellite service and lists a frequency of 3845 horizontal with a symbol rate of 8800. The channel also provides a live online stream, allowing viewers to watch Kohenoor TV as online television beyond satellite reception.
