SL48 canale Live Stream

SL48 is a local radio-television broadcaster of Lazio, Italy, serving the Pontine plain from Pontinia. A "radio-TV" devoted to music and entertainment, it is known for the personality of its founder Sandro Micheli and for bringing the atmosphere of village festivals directly into viewers' homes.

The Story of a Dream Called SL48

The story began in 1982, when Sandro Micheli took over Radio Costa Tirrena in Pontinia and gave it the name SL48: SL for Sandro and his wife Laura, and 48 for the Migliara 48 road where he was born and built his studios. In 1985 the radio doubled into a television, and Micheli invented Abballo TV, a genre that brought piazza parties and liscio dance music to the screen - his accordion and the motto "Assosì" made him a family friend for viewers across the province.

A Service to the Community

Over the years SL48 became a social point of reference, especially for elderly viewers. During the pandemic the station stayed on air with games, songs and companionship to fight loneliness. After Sandro Micheli's death in August 2023 the channel continues to broadcast with the same spirit, carrying music, entertainment and phone-in company to its Lazio audience on digital terrestrial television and through its own website and YouTube archive.
