Quartarete TV Live Stream

Quartarete TV, known on screen as 4Rete, is a name rooted in the television history of Turin and Piedmont. Founded as a local broadcaster in 1980 and closed in its terrestrial form in 2017, the brand returned in 2022 as an online television service under Mediacast Group s.r.l.

The station's founders - Davide Boscaini and three partners - took over the frequencies of Telemontebianco and covered Turin on UHF channel 22 from Corso Brescia 62.

The TG4 and the sports columns

Daily programming combined local information - the network newscast was the TG4 - with current affairs, sport, films, TV series and cartoons. The 1980s schedule was rich in sports columns: Tifo contro tifo hosted by Fabio Ravezzani, Bar sport with Torino and Juventus players, Off side produced with the Guerin Sportivo magazine, Motor weekend and The best of touring.

Zona franca and the provinces

In the 1993-94 season the channel aired Zona franca, hosted by Gianfranco Funari, and between 1995 and 2000 a branch office in Asti produced the local newscast TGA and live coverage of the city's Palio. In the 2000s the station co-produced Festa in piazza, Carta straccia, Azzurro Italia and Lunedì di rigore with Primocanale, Antennatre and Telenuovo, alongside the football talk shows Serata Juve and Toro amore mio.

The end and the return

The high-definition service 4Rete HD/3D ended on 11 July 2016, when its slot passed to Canale Italia 11, and the historic station closed on 25 May 2017. In 2022 the Quartarete brand was relaunched online - "Siamo tornati" was the announcement - as an on-demand television brand owned by Mediacast Group s.r.l.
