YOUNIB Media TV Live Stream

YOUNIB Media TV is a Kenyan channel built around young people. Its output is aimed at a generation that is urban, connected and sceptical of formal religious broadcasting, and it approaches faith and community through conversation rather than the pulpit.

Programmes

The channel's own formats give it its character: Coffee Talk, a conversation programme in which young guests discuss belief and daily life, Rising Stars, which gives young performers and achievers a platform, and interfaith discussions that bring different traditions into the same room. These sit alongside music and community features from Nairobi and beyond.

A different register

Kenyan religious television is dominated by large ministries with long preaching formats. YOUNIB takes another route - studio conversation, youth voices and cultural programming - and in doing so it addresses viewers who would not sit through a sermon but will listen to their peers. That register, closer to magazine television than to church broadcast, is what makes the channel distinctive in its market.

Watching

YOUNIB Media TV broadcasts in standard definition in Kenya and streams online through the Go Live Africa platform, which carries a number of Kenyan channels. Its programmes are also published on its video channel, and the broadcaster's studio produces music and video work for its partners alongside its own output.
