Capuchin TV Live Stream

Capuchin TV is the broadcasting ministry of the Capuchin Franciscans in Kenya, working under the Catholic Church. It runs on StarTimes channel 470 and on free-to-air set-top boxes, and it streams online.

Franciscan television

The Capuchins are a Franciscan branch of the Catholic Church known for work among the poor, and their television in Kenya reflects that: faith formation for ordinary believers, the Holy Rosary broadcast as a daily devotion, programmes on the history of the Catholic Church in the country, and coverage of events such as Holy Week and cultural gatherings like the Gabra Cultural Night.

For children and young people

The channel's schedule gives real room to children and youth, with programmes built around the slogan Inability is not disability - a strand on inclusion and on the dignity of people with disabilities, which is a distinct feature of the ministry's work. Choir music and community development programming complete the picture.

Watching

Capuchin TV broadcasts in standard definition in Kenya and streams through Go Live Africa, a platform used by a number of Kenyan broadcasters. Its site publishes its programmes, a resources section, events and a donations page, and its programmes are collected on its video channel.
