Alerth Alnabawi Channel Live Stream

Alerth Alnabawi - قناة التنبيه النبوي, the channel of prophetic admonition - is a Jordanian Islamic broadcaster working in the Sunni tradition. Its subject is the Quran and the Sunnah, and its purpose is instruction.

Teaching in the classical register

The channel's schedule is built on lessons: explanations of Quranic passages, study of the prophetic traditions, and teaching on the rules that govern worship and daily conduct. The approach is that of the Jordanian religious establishment - moderate, text-based, and given to instruction rather than polemic - and the programmes are presented by scholars and teachers rather than by televangelists.

Its place in Jordanian broadcasting

Jordan has a long tradition of Islamic broadcasting, and its religious channels reflect the country's role as a centre of moderate Sunni scholarship. Alerth Alnabawi takes that inheritance as its content: the teaching of the classical schools, delivered in Arabic for a local and regional audience, with an emphasis on how a Muslim should live rather than on controversy.

Watching

Alerth Alnabawi broadcasts in standard definition by satellite and streams through its own live feed. Its programmes are also published on its video channel, where the lessons and sermons are collected for viewing on demand.
