Marjaeyat TV Persian - شبکه جهانی مرجعیت, the Marjaeyat Global Network - is the Farsi service of a religious broadcaster run by ISWF Broadcasting Network Inc., a non-profit organisation registered in the United States. It works from Iraq and addresses Persian-speaking viewers in Iran, Afghanistan and the diaspora.

A network in several languages

Marjaeyat produces parallel services in Persian, Arabic and English, carrying the same body of religious programming into each language. Its subject is the teaching of the marja'iyya - the highest authority in Shia jurisprudence - and its output is built on the scholarship attached to it rather than on the personality of a single preacher.

What the channel carries

The schedule combines Daily Scholarly Sessions, in which scholars work through questions of doctrine and practice, with news of the religious institutions and coverage of their activities, plus devotional and calendar programming. The network publishes a weekly briefing and maintains a news section alongside its live broadcasts.

Watching

Marjaeyat TV Persian broadcasts in standard definition by satellite and streams from the network's own infrastructure at livefa.marjaeyattv.com, with apps and a how to watch guide on its site. Its programming is also published on its video channels.
