Satsang Web TV Live Stream

Satsang Web TV is the online service of the Sanskar TV Group, the Indian devotional broadcaster. Its name sets out what it is: a channel for satsang - the gathering of devotees with a teacher - delivered over the internet rather than only through a satellite slot.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built on katha and discourse: a teacher working through a scripture or a theme over many sessions, with bhajans and kirtan between the episodes, and the recitation of the day's readings. It is material meant to be followed in sequence rather than sampled, and the continuous stream lets a viewer join at any hour and pick up the thread.

Devotion without a broadcast slot

The web channel exists because devotional audiences do not keep television hours. A katha that runs for weeks has to be available when the viewer is free, and an internet stream does that in a way a satellite schedule cannot. Within the Sanskar group, Satsang Web TV therefore complements the linear channels rather than duplicating them.

Watching

Satsang Web TV streams through the group's CloudFront delivery and is listed in the Sanskar app alongside the other channels, so viewers can move between the linear services and the online one from the same place.
