Santvani Channel Live Stream

Santvani Channel - संतवाणी, the voice of the saints - is a Hindi-language devotional broadcaster. Its work is the satsang: the gathering at which a teacher speaks, the devotees listen, and the singing carries the assembly along.

What the channel carries

Three forms dominate the schedule. Katha gives a teacher the time to work through a scripture across many episodes; bhajan and kirtan carry the music that surrounds it; and discourse on the conduct of life - duty, family, suffering, peace - fills the rest. The channel records these gatherings rather than staging studio formats, which is what its audience expects from devotional television.

A regional devotional voice

India's devotional broadcasters are organised largely by language and by the teachers their audience follows, and Santvani works in that pattern: a Hindi service built around the saints and speakers whose gatherings its viewers attend in person when they can. Its site and its stream extend those gatherings to people who cannot travel.

Watching

Santvani Channel broadcasts in standard definition on Indian platforms and streams through a CloudFront delivery set up for the channel. Its programmes are also published on its video channel.
