Sanskar TV Live Stream

Sanskar TV is one of the most popular devotional channels in India, and its remit is wider than devotion alone. Alongside katha and bhajan it carries programmes on yoga and Ayurveda, which is what makes it a channel about a way of living rather than only about worship.

What the channel carries

The day is built from the forms of Indian religious practice: katha, in which a teacher works through a scripture over many sessions; bhajan and kirtan sung by established and temple performers; aarti; and discourses on the epics, the puranas and the conduct of daily life. The wellness strand - yoga sessions, Ayurvedic advice, programmes on diet and health - runs alongside, drawn from the same tradition.

A group, not a single channel

Sanskar TV is one of India's most popular devotional broadcasters, with a schedule built on spiritual, religious and wellness programming: katha and discourse, bhajan and kirtan, aarti, yoga and Ayurveda. The group runs several services, which this post describes in turn.

Watching

Sanskar TV broadcasts in standard definition on Indian cable and satellite platforms and streams through the group's CloudFront delivery, with all its services gathered in the Sanskar app. Its programmes are also published on its video channel.
