Sairam TV Live Stream

Sairam TV is a Tamil-language devotional channel devoted to Sai Baba. Its subject is the devotional movement that grew around him - bhajan and kirtan singing, the study of his sayings, and the charitable work that Sai centres carry out.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built on singing and on gathering: bhajan sessions in the Sai repertoire, kirtans led by singers from Tamil Nadu's Sai centres, discourses that work through the teaching of love, service and the unity of faiths that the movement is known for, and coverage of the observances of the Sai calendar. Programmes from the centres themselves, and from the festivals they hold, make up much of the output.

A devotion without a single institution

Sai devotion is organised through local centres rather than a single church or order, which shapes a channel serving it: the material comes from many centres, the singers change, and the teaching is presented as an invitation rather than as doctrine. In Tamil Nadu, where the movement has a large following, a channel of this kind works as a shared platform for those centres.

Watching

Sairam TV broadcasts in standard definition on Indian platforms and streams through the Tango TV infrastructure, with its programmes also published on its video channel.
