Mercy TV Live Stream

Mercy TV carries the subtitle Paigham-e-Rahmat - the message of mercy - and its site opens with the Quranic verse that Allah's mercy is near to those who do good. It is an Indian Islamic channel working in Hindi and Urdu.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built on scholarship and on practice: programmes with the channel's listed scholars, teaching on doctrine and jurisprudence, and the practical material that Islamic broadcasting in India provides - namaz timings calculated for the viewer's location, the calendar of observances, and guidance for Ramadan and the festivals. An education strand and a programme guide complete the grid.

A community channel with a hotline

What distinguishes the channel is its directness: a hotline and a WhatsApp number are printed on the site for viewers to call, and a sponsorship page invites local businesses to support the broadcast. That is the model of a community broadcaster - close to its audience, funded locally, and answering questions as they come in.

Watching

Mercy TV broadcasts in standard definition and streams from its own server at streamlock, with a live section on its site. Its programmes are also published on its video channel.
