Mahaa Bhakti Live Stream

Mahaa Bhakti is a Telugu-language devotional channel. Its content is bhakti music and devotional programming for viewers in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and the Telugu-speaking diaspora.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built on song: bhakti and keertana in the Telugu devotional repertoire - the compositions of Annamacharya, Tyagaraja and Ramadasu beside contemporary devotional music - together with the temple programmes and the observances of the religious year. It is a music-led channel in the way most Telugu devotional services are, with the singing carrying the day.

A regional devotional sound

Telugu devotional music has its own repertoire and its own singers, and its audience is loyal to both. A channel working in that tradition serves listeners who want their own compositions rather than a pan-Indian playlist, and it sustains itself on the breadth of the repertoire - centuries of it, and new recordings every year.

Watching

Mahaa Bhakti broadcasts in standard definition on Indian platforms and streams through the SmartPlay TV infrastructure used by its operator, with its programmes also published on its video channel.
