Angel TV FarEast Live Stream

Angel TV FarEast is the service of Angel TV for East Asia - Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and the island societies of the western Pacific. It carries Christian worship, teaching and family programming for those audiences.

Small churches, long histories

East Asia's Christian communities are minorities with deep roots: Japanese Catholicism going back to the sixteenth century and its Hidden Christians; Korean Protestantism, which sends more missionaries per head than almost any other country; and Taiwan's Presbyterian tradition. Their media habits differ sharply - Korean churches are online-first, Japanese audiences prefer quiet formats - and a regional service has to bridge both.

Programming

The channel draws on Angel TV's own production: talk shows, dramas, films, family and children's programmes, biblical teaching and music, most of it made in-house. Its tone is family-oriented by design - the network's stated aim is to entertain, edify and educate the whole family - and it is free-to-air and commercial-free, supported by donations.

Watching

Angel TV FarEast broadcasts by satellite across the region and streams through the Akamai delivery set up for the network, with its programmes also published on the network's video channels.
