MTA6 Asia Live Stream

MTA6 Asia is one of the regional channels of MTA International, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community's television network, and carries a schedule built mainly around teaching and jurisprudence. It is distributed with audio tracks in Urdu, English, Bengali, Indonesian, Tamil and Malayalam.

Fiqh and Daily Practice

Deeni-o-Fiqa'hi Masa'il answers questions of practice, taking one subject at a time. Episodes have dealt with halal and haram food and with circumcision, setting out the reasoning behind the ruling as well as the conclusion, so that viewers follow the argument rather than only the answer.

Related programmes cover prayer, fasting, family law and financial dealings, and questions sent in by viewers are collected and addressed in later editions.

Khilafat and History

Khilafat: The bright future of Islam is an MTA Talks discussion on the institution of the caliphate and how the community understands it. Aal-e-Rasool looks at the family of the Prophet, with episodes devoted to figures such as Hazrat Umm-e-Kulthum and the details of their lives and character.

Classes and Archive

Bustan-e-Waqfenau Class presents lessons recorded for the community's educational programme, and the channel draws heavily on the MTA archive, including older question-and-answer sessions with the community's leadership.

Where to Watch

MTA6 Asia is available through the MTA website and its applications, alongside the network's other regional channels.
