Asomavision online - Television live
Asomavision Live Stream
Asomavisión is an Ecuadorian evangelical channel broadcasting from Quito on channel 27, on air since 1 December 1993.
From HCJB to Asomavisión
The project has deeper roots than its launch date suggests. Between 1962 and 1968 the missionary Dwight Lind worked in television ministry in Quito and founded VozAndes TV, a subsidiary of the HCJB radio mission, which did not prosper in an era of few television sets. Lind returned in 1993 to create Asomavisión, working with Thomas Fulghum, founder of ASOMA, and the pastor Gonzalo Carvajal. The station has grown since into a national service with programming for children, young people and adults.
Preaching and Bible reading
La Biblia para Todos reads one chapter of Scripture each day, and Escuela Dominical presents the Sunday school lesson for viewers at home. En su Palabra carries the preaching of Pastor Miguel Núñez, En Contacto brings the sermons of Charles Stanley, and Charles Price presents the ministry Vive la Verdad. Un Mensaje a la Conciencia broadcasts the reflections of the international ministry Hermano Pablo, and Alli Willay presents preaching and Christian music in Kichwa.
Family, health and education
Revista Familiar Asoma covers well-being, health and education for the household, Educa looks at access to learning, and A lo Legal offers legal advice grounded in Scripture. Mujer De Dios addresses women, and Bendición que Sobreabunda handles social cases brought by people needing help.
Worship and church life
Culto Asoma carries the Sunday service for those unable to attend church, and Altar Familiar is a time of family prayer. Concierto de Oración takes prayer requests, with a separate edition for young people, and Mundo Cristiano reports on events of interest to the Christian community.
