CNA Live Stream

CNA, the Chaîne Nord Africaine, is a Christian satellite channel addressing the populations of North Africa and the region's communities in Europe and the Middle East. Its distinguishing feature is that it was the first to broadcast in the languages actually spoken across the region: dialectal Arabic, Berber and French, all presented from a biblical perspective.

The channel is carried on the EYWA satellite at 11158 MHz, vertical polarisation, symbol rate 5000, and describes the launch as an answer to prayer for North Africans.

Programming

The schedule covers a broad range of formats: testimonies, documentaries, debates and edification programmes, alongside series for women, cartoons for children and recorded music. About half of the content is produced in Berber languages, reflecting a Berber-speaking population of some thirty million across Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia.

Mission and Languages

The channel defines its mission as announcing the gospel and teaching the Word of God to North Africans, helping disciples to grow and to join local churches. It describes itself as Christ-centred, dependent on God and led by the Holy Spirit, evangelical and under the supreme authority of the Bible.

Its historic director, Ali Arhab, framed the work as a promise to all North Africans, and the channel remains engaged with diaspora communities around the world.

Response and Distribution

Viewers write in from across the region with requests for Bibles and accounts of family reconciliation; the channel publishes some of these letters and calls. Programmes are streamed through the CNA website as well as by satellite, and a selection is published on YouTube.
