DR1 Live Stream

DR1 is Denmark's oldest and most-watched television channel - the flagship of the public broadcaster DR, on air since 2 October 1951 and known to Danes simply as 1'eren, "the One".

Born as Danmarks Radio's single television service, it took the name DR1 when sister channel DR2 arrived in 1996. Its schedule remains the anchor of Danish public-service viewing: the bulletins of TV-Avisen, current affairs with Deadline and 21 Søndag, award-winning documentaries, and the drama series that made Danish television a global export.

The Home of Nordic Noir

DR1's drama slots launched the wave the world calls Nordic noir - Forbrydelsen (The Killing) and Borgen both ran on the channel, carrying Danish storytelling to audiences far beyond the country. Around them, the channel carries the Eurovision Song Contest, the Melodi Grand Prix and the cultural and factual programming of the public service.

Six Decades of the One

From experimental 1950s broadcasts to today's high-definition schedule, DR1 has been present at every turn of Danish television history - still the channel the nation turns to on the evenings that matter, distributed on DRTV's streaming service as well as on air.
