NRK TV - NRK1 Direkte Live Stream

NRK1 is the main television channel of NRK, Norway's public broadcaster, and the country's oldest TV service - regular broadcasts began on 20 August 1960. Funded by the public and free of advertising, it remains the channel where Norway watches its news, its winters and its biggest shared moments.

News and the National Conversation

The schedule turns on Dagsrevyen, the main evening news at seven, and on Debatten, the prime-time debate hosted by Fredrik Solvang that sets the agenda in Norwegian politics. Fridays bring Nytt på nytt, the satirical news quiz that has run since 1999, and Sundays often end with the music quiz institution Beat for Beat.

Sport, Snow and Song

Winter belongs to NRK1: cross-country skiing and biathlon World Cups draw enormous audiences, and every spring the Melodi Grand Prix - Norway's Eurovision selection - fills concert halls and living rooms alike. National celebrations, royal events and the big summer and winter championships all land on this Norwegian TV channel.
