Madani Channel Bangla Live Stream

Madani Channel Bangla is the Bengali-language service of Madani Channel, the Islamic network of Dawat-e-Islami. The movement began in Karachi and its Pakistani channel has aired since 2008; the Bengali edition takes the same teaching to Bangladesh and to Bengali-speaking communities elsewhere.

Teaching in Bengali

The channel's method follows the network: clear instruction in the fundamentals of belief and worship, explained by preachers in everyday Bengali rather than in scholarly idiom. Programmes work through the requirements of prayer, fasting and purity, the life of the Prophet, and the rulings that govern ordinary transactions and family matters, so that a viewer can act on what is said.

Naat, Quran and remembrance

Recitation has a fixed place in the schedule - the Quran in Arabic with Bengali explanation, and Naat, the poetry of praise for the Prophet, which is central to devotional life in Bengal as in Pakistan. Supplication and remembrance fill the intervals between the teaching programmes.

Guidance for families

Dawat-e-Islami addresses family and social conduct directly, and the Bengali channel carries that strand: relations between spouses and generations, the upbringing of children, honesty in work and trade, and the duties owed to neighbours. The schedule is arranged so that these programmes reach women, students and children as distinct audiences, alongside the general teaching.
