WPLG 10.1 Live Stream

WPLG, virtual channel 10, is the ABC affiliate for Miami and the Florida Keys, branded Local 10. The station is owned by BH Media Group, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, and broadcasts from its studios in Pembroke Park in Broward County, with a transmitter in Miami.

The station signed on in 1961 as WLBW-TV on channel 10 and took the WPLG call sign in 1970. It has been an ABC affiliate for most of its history, and its newsroom is one of the largest in South Florida, covering Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties.

Programming

Local news dominates the schedule, with morning, midday, early evening and late bulletins, together with weather coverage built around hurricane season and the afternoon storms that cross the peninsula. Investigative reporting, consumer affairs and community journalism fill the rest, and the station follows the region's politics, immigration and its bilingual population.

Access

The live feed is delivered over the internet through a server-side ad insertion platform at several quality levels, up to high definition, and it is available through the station's website and applications as well as over the air on channel 10.

The station's transmitter shares the Miami tower site used by several of the market's broadcasters, which is why reception across the urban area is reliable despite the flat terrain and the distance to the Keys.
