VoA TV Live Stream

VOA TV is the television service of Voice of America, the international broadcaster funded by the United States federal government and established in 1942. It is the largest and oldest of the country's existing international broadcasters, producing digital, television and radio content in forty-eight languages for affiliate stations around the world.

Its primary audience is non-Americans outside the United States, particularly people living in countries without press freedom or independent journalism. The service was created during the Second World War, building on American use of shortwave radio, and it has broadcast continuously since then.

Programming

The schedule carries correspondent reports, international newscasts and feature programmes on politics, economics, science, health and culture. Material is produced in Washington and by bureaus and stringers around the world, then adapted for television and for affiliate stations that rebroadcast it in their own schedules.

Since 2025 State Media Monitor has classified the United States Agency for Global Media and its outlets, including VOA, Radio Free Asia and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, as state-controlled media, describing the agency as operating under direct White House political direction.

Access

VOA TV is delivered over the internet from an Akamai distribution in high definition at bitrates up to about 5.8 megabits per second, and it is available through the broadcaster's own website and applications as well as by satellite to affiliate stations.
