TV Punjab Live Stream

TV Punjab is a Canadian Punjabi-language news channel serving the Punjabi community in Canada and the diaspora, broadcasting news and programming around the clock.

News in Punjabi

The grid is built on news editions in Punjabi, current-affairs programmes and talk shows covering the diaspora's life — the community's affairs in Canada and its ties to Punjab. A newsroom working in the community's language reports on Canadian institutions in terms its audience uses at home.

Surrey and Brampton

Punjabi-Canadian audiences are concentrated in Surrey, in British Columbia's Fraser valley, and in Brampton and Malton in Ontario. Those cities have Punjabi-speaking populations large enough to sustain their own media, shops and religious institutions, which is what makes a daily Punjabi news service viable.

The community's news beats

Immigration and work permits, international students, the trucking industry, farmland in the Fraser valley and the politics of Punjab itself are the subjects a Punjabi-Canadian newsroom covers. They reflect an audience that lives in Canada and follows India closely.

Distribution

TV Punjab broadcasts on Canadian platforms and streams through its own site, reaching Punjabi speakers in Canada, the United States, Britain, Australia and the Gulf.
