Sochi24 Live Stream

Sochi24 is the city television channel and news portal of Sochi, the Black Sea resort in the Krasnodar region of Russia. It operates within the MAX Media Group, a local media holding that marked its thirtieth anniversary in November and describes itself as having worked alongside the city for three decades.

News and Local Reporting

The service covers the life of the city across its districts, from Adler and Khosta to the central area and the mountain cluster. Reporting deals with municipal decisions, transport and roadworks, the water and power networks, and the seasonal problems that come with a resort of this size.

Weather occupies a prominent place: Sochi sits between the sea and the Caucasus, and forecasts of rain, hail, wind and snow on the peaks are followed closely. Recent items have warned of a sharp deterioration in the weather, of the first snow above two thousand metres, and of winds reaching thirty-five metres per second across the region. Transport news, including the suspension of rail services between Lazarevskoye and Sochi for repairs, is reported as it happens.

City Life and Culture

Beyond hard news, the portal follows the city's cultural calendar, sport, education and business, and publishes announcements of events and practical information for residents and visitors. Advertising and commercial services are offered through the same media group.

Broadcasting

Sochi24 broadcasts in high definition and streams continuously through sochi24.tv, where the live player sits alongside the news feed. Its output is also carried on YouTube under the name Sochi 24 HD and on Rutube, where the channel holds a large video archive.
