Abante TV Live Stream

Abante TV is a Philippine news channel broadcasting in Filipino, carrying the Abante tabloid brand onto television. Operated by Prage Management Corporation and launched in October 2024, the channel describes itself with the line "Ang kauna-unahang teletabloid sa bansa" — the country's first teletabloid, a format that translates the energy of Philippine tabloid journalism into a daily television newscast.

The teletabloid format

The channel's flagship programme, Abante Teletabloid, began as a daily newscast with its pilot episode in October 2022 and has since become the brand's television signature. A weekend edition, Teletabloid Weekend, extends the format across seven days. The programmes mix hard news with the tabloid staples Filipino audiences know from the printed page: crime and police reports, courtroom and political intrigue, showbiz stories and human-interest features, delivered in a direct, colloquial register.

Politics, crime and public service

Reporting covers the Philippine political agenda — the presidency, Congress and the vice presidency, corruption controversies and impeachment proceedings — alongside crime stories from the Philippine National Police and the courts. Public-service journalism is a recurring strand: transport fare changes, government aid programmes for jeepney drivers and similar everyday concerns reach the air as news items rather than as separate consumer segments.

Beyond the broadcast, Abante maintains an online news operation under the banner "Kasama sa Pagsulong ng Bawat Pilipino" — "Together with the progress of every Filipino" — with video reports and replays of its television newscasts distributed through streaming platforms, giving the tabloid brand a continuous presence in Philippine news.
