TV Kanal 9 Live Stream

TV Kanal 9 is a local television station from Novi Sad, the capital of Vojvodina - one of the regional broadcasters that grew out of the democratic opening of Serbian media in the 1990s.

Novi Sad, Up Close

The grid is built on the city's life: municipal news and politics, the university scene, culture from Serbia's second city - the EXIT festival's home - and talk formats with local officials, entrepreneurs and artists. The region's famous multi-ethnic character, with Hungarian, Slovak and other communities, shows up in its coverage every single week. When EXIT fills the fortress each summer, Kanal 9 is the local camera the whole city watches.

Online-First Now

Like many Serbian local stations, Kanal 9 shifted its weight to the internet: the live broadcast runs around the clock on the web, and the news flow keeps Novi Sad informed long after the old transmitters went quiet.

The City That Never Logs Off

The channel runs day and night, so anyone who wants to watch TV Kanal 9 online joins the same signal the city follows. A Kanal 9 live evening is the council story, the campus debate and the Petrovaradin festival gossip in one sitting - Novi Sad talking to itself, in all of its languages, since the nineties - and for the vojvođanski diaspora watching from Budapest or Vienna, the fastest way back home.
