GS TV (GSTV) is a 24×7 Gujarati satellite news channel from the house of Gujarat Samachar, the media group behind one of Gujarat's leading daily newspapers. Launched in 2012, the channel serves the state's news audience with regional and national coverage in Gujarati around the clock.

Gujarat coverage

Viewers follow GSTV for Gujarat news, Ahmedabad coverage, state politics, crime and current affairs. The channel's grid is built on rolling news bulletins through the day, with current-affairs and debate programmes on Gujarat politics, and special coverage of the state's elections and civic events. Its newsroom pairs the newspaper group's journalistic tradition with round-the-clock television reporting.

A Gujarati-language newsroom

All of the channel's output is produced in Gujarati, addressing the state's home audience directly. Its editorial agenda combines breaking regional reporting from Ahmedabad and other cities of Gujarat with national stories relevant to the state, distributed across its bulletins, current-affairs programmes and special election broadcasts.
