TV Mesta Dolný Kubín Live Stream

Televízia mesta Dolný Kubín - TVDK - is the local television channel of Dolný Kubín, the historic centre of Slovakia's Orava region, broadcasting since 1997 under license T/86 and under the motto "Pod Chočom je stále o čom" - there is always something going on under the Choč mountain.

The operator, Infoštúdio mesta Dolný Kubín s.r.o., holds a license for 24-hour broadcasting, and the channel continuously informs citizens about current topics, past events and planned activities in the town.

SPRÁVY, CELOU VETOU and RETROSPRÁVY

The editorial team produces the weekly news programme SPRÁVY - a bulletin so established that other local television stations across northern Slovakia take it for their own schedules. The discussion programme CELOU VETOU invites guests to debate current issues, and the archive format RETROSPRÁVY revisits the town's past.

City Life on Screen

TVDK carries live broadcasts from the meetings of the town council, runs its own videotext service and publishes the monthly town newspaper Kubín. Its video archive and daily-updated social media presence - reaching tens of thousands of users a week - extend the channel's reporting to the town's online audience.
