Turzovská TV Live Stream

Turzovská TV - TVT, Turzovská televízia - is the local television channel of Turzovka, a town in Slovakia's Kysuce region near the Czech border, bringing the area's news and community life to the screen since 2006.

The channel reaches viewers through cable distribution in Turzovka and the surrounding villages - Podvysoká, Staškov and Vysoká nad Kysucou - alongside its online live signal.

A Small Station, Close to Its Town

Turzovská TV operates as a compact newsroom: Ján Schutz behind the camera, editing and direction, Agáta Machovčáková on scripts and reporting - the kind of two-person station whose coverage runs on knowing the town it films. Its news output covers municipal decisions, community events, sport and the everyday occasions of Kysuce life, with reports archived as videos on the station's site.

The Town's Calendar on Screen

The reporting calendar follows the life of the town: the Jeseň na dedine autumn fair and farmers' markets, the Sprievod mestom town procession, the ceremonial welcoming of newborns and the annual awarding of the town's honours. Election seasons bring coverage of the municipal and regional votes, and the sports reporting follows FK Tatran Turzovka and the volunteer fire brigade. Visits from partner towns such as Kęty in Poland also make the bulletin.
