RTM Parlimen - Dewan Negara Live Stream

RTM Parlimen - Dewan Negara is the Malaysian public broadcaster RTM's channel carrying live coverage of the Senate (Dewan Negara) of the Parliament of Malaysia. The service is RTM's dedicated parliamentary channel together with its Dewan Rakyat counterpart.

Viewers follow RTM Parlimen for live Senate proceedings - debates, committee stages and legislative sessions of the upper house of Malaysia's Parliament.

The Senate on Screen

The Dewan Negara is the upper house of Malaysia's Parliament: its seventy senators - twenty-six elected by the state legislative assemblies and forty-four appointed by the King - review and refine the legislation passed by the lower house. When the Senate sits, RTM Parlimen carries the proceedings live: the debates of second and third readings, committee stages and the decisions that complete each bill's passage through Parliament.

Two Houses, One Channel

RTM, Malaysia's national public broadcaster, dedicates a parliamentary service to both houses: alongside this Dewan Negara feed, its Dewan Rakyat counterpart covers the lower house where the government is formed and bills originate. Together the two feeds give Malaysians direct access to the legislative work of their Parliament - uncut, uninterrupted and in the original language of the chamber - with the signal running through the parliamentary portal rtmparlimen.rtm.gov.my.
