El Doce - Canal 12 - is the television channel of Córdoba, Argentina, on air since 18 April 1960 under the slogan "Conectados, toda la vida". It is owned by Grupo Clarín and Francisco Quiñonero and operated by Artear through Telecor S.A.C.I., covering the province of Córdoba, the south of Catamarca and the west of Santa Fe.

Córdoba's own channel

The station's schedule mixes news and entertainment for the Córdoba audience: the newsroom covers the province's politics, crime, education and sport - from the Belgrano-River rivalry at the Kempes to the Primer Paso employment programme - and the strand El Doce y vos connects viewers with the channel.

The Cuarteteando programme carries the city's cuarteto tradition, and the channel keeps a continuous 24-hour live stream on eldoce.tv.

Sixty-six years on air

El Doce celebrated its 50th anniversary in April 2010 and continues as one of Argentina's oldest and most-watched provincial channels, from its studios on Avenida Fernando Fader in Córdoba.
