TVM - Television Maldives Live Stream

Television Maldives (TVM) is the national television channel of the Maldives and part of Public Service Media (PSM). PSM describes TVM as a nationwide service carrying news, current affairs, and varied entertainment programs for audiences of different ages. The channel’s history began on 29 March 1978, when Television Maldives started broadcasting in the capital.

National news and programming

PSM says TVM brings reports and programs from across the country. Its current brand page identifies national news, current affairs, and variety entertainment among the channel’s core content. The same page lists Heyyambo and Filmee Udhares in its program section. These examples sit within TVM’s broader mix; the broadcaster’s live portal and current schedule provide the latest availability.

A changing institutional history

TVM’s name and administration have changed over time. The channel later operated under the Maldives National Broadcasting Corporation and was rebranded MNBC One in 2010; the TVM name returned in 2012. Since 2015, the service has been part of Public Service Media, the national public broadcaster. PSM’s portfolio includes television and radio services alongside TVM.

Watch TVM online

PSM provides a dedicated TVM stream page within its live portal. That official page lists TVM alongside other PSM services, including PSM News, YES TV, and radio stations. Viewers looking for Maldivian online television can use the portal to find the TVM feed and check current access. Programming may vary by schedule, while the channel’s stated focus remains national news, public affairs, and entertainment in the Maldives.
