TV Miramar is a Portuguese-language general-interest broadcaster in Mozambique and a member of Grupo Record. The network's official profile says TV Miramar was founded in 1997, operates a 24-hour daily schedule and reaches viewers through free-to-air distribution, five pay-TV operators and digital platforms. Its stated national coverage reaches about 90 percent of Mozambique's population.

Local news and debate

Locally produced journalism is a major part of the schedule. Fala Moçambique carries national and international news, while MZ no Ar presents the day's main headlines. Balanço Geral combines reporting with entertainment, and Cidade Alerta is a current-affairs programme with a focus on crime reporting. The broadcaster also lists Contacto Directo, which uses investigative journalism, and Tema em Debate, a forum for issues in Mozambican society.

Morning television, sport and entertainment

Belas Manhãs mixes news, recipes and features on fashion and society. MIRAMAR Desporto covers national and international sport, while Só Rindo is a stand-up comedy programme hosted by Valdo VJ. Other formats cover conversation, family stories, business and weekly news review. The official programme guide also lists serial dramas and entertainment shows, giving the channel a general schedule beyond its local news production.
