Altaş TV is the regional television channel of Ordu, on Turkey's Black Sea coast - part of Altaş Medya within the Altaş Group of Companies, founded on 5 May 2010 and broadcasting from studios in the Altınordu district.

Ordu's Region-Wide Channel

Altaş TV went down in the city's broadcasting history as Ordu's first channel with a region-wide editorial approach, and has broadcast via satellite since 2010, reaching viewers well beyond the province. The channel is also carried on D-Smart and through its own web and mobile apps.

The schedule is built on Ordu and Black Sea regional journalism: local news, agriculture - the channel follows the hazelnut harvest of the world's hazelnut capital - culture and community programming, alongside talk and entertainment formats for the region's audience.

The Altaş Group Behind It

The channel belongs to one of Ordu's oldest business houses: the Altaş Group traces its roots to 1957, when Mesut Altaş founded the family business in the grain trade, and today spans media alongside its other ventures.
