CBC TV 8 Live Stream
CBC TV 8 is the television service of the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, the public broadcaster of Barbados, and one of the oldest TV stations in the English-speaking Caribbean - television first went out from its Pine Hill studios in December 1964. It streams its live signal online.
Barbados on the Evening News
The flagship of the channel is the CBC Evening News at seven, the bulletin Bajans have watched for generations: politics from Bridgetown, business, regional CARICOM affairs, weather and sport. Mornings open with Morning Barbados, the long-running talk magazine where guests argue, cook, sing and promote the island's events.
Crop Over and Cricket
When the island celebrates, CBC is the home broadcaster: the Crop Over festival fills the summer schedule with calypso tents, the Pic-o-de-Crop finals and the Grand Kadooment parade. Cricket - always the island's passion - joins the coverage, alongside the gospel programming and community content that complete the public channel's grid.
Broadcasts Like a Nation of Millions
As Barbados' public screen for six decades, CBC TV 8 remains the island's shared television - the news, the festival and the sport that Bajans gather for. For a country of under three hundred thousand that broadcasts like a nation of millions, the channel keeps Barbados on air around the clock.
