KTN News Live Stream

KTN News is the Sindhi-language 24-hour news and current affairs channel of Pakistan, part of the Kawish Television Network (KTN). Launched in 2007 and based in Karachi, it is described as the world's first Sindhi news channel.

The KTN Family

The parent network, Kawish Television Network, was founded by Muhammad Aslam Kazi in 2002 as the first private Sindhi channel of Pakistan, starting with six hours a day before growing into a 24-hour service. The family includes the music channel Kashish, the movies and dramas channel Chaalis and the Daily Kawish newspaper, with production partner Platform Productions behind series such as Kuch Reh Jeewiyal Pall and Alif Laila.

News for Sindh

KTN News started airing in October 2007 with news bulletins, current-affairs programmes, talk shows, documentaries and reports. The grid covers Sindh, Pakistan and the world, with politics, sport and entertainment, and it carries live coverage of the National Assembly, the Sindh Assembly and the Senate sessions. Reporting in Sindh has carried a heavy price: cameraman Munir Ahmed Sangi was shot covering a gunfight in Larkana in 2006, and journalist Aziz Memon was found dead in 2020.
