TRT EBA TV İlkokul Live Stream

TRT EBA TV İlkokul was the primary-school service in Türkiye’s distance-learning project, created by public broadcaster TRT and the Ministry of National Education during the COVID-19 pandemic. It brought lessons for primary grades to television, helping pupils follow classes from home as schools moved to remote instruction.

Lessons for primary grades

İlkokul was one of three age-based services, alongside TRT EBA Ortaokul for middle school and TRT EBA Lise for high school. Teachers presented lessons based on the national curriculum, while EBA provided schedules and related digital learning materials.

TRT EBA İlkokul is now a former standalone channel. In January 2024, the Ministry of National Education announced an agreement with TRT to bring the three services under one TRT EBA channel. Its daily plan assigns separate time blocks to primary, middle-school and high-school lessons. EBA continues to list recordings of earlier classes, including primary-school lessons with original broadcast dates.

About this service

This profile describes the İlkokul channel’s role in pandemic-era distance education; it does not claim that the former separate service still broadcasts independently. Viewers looking for current educational material can consult EBA, while the TRT EBA schedule reflects the unified channel structure announced by the ministry.
